Attributed Influencing Home Buyer’s Purchase Decision for Condominium
Darrell John Delute | Jerico John G. Dalangin
Abstract:
The study aims to investigate the key housing attributes influencing consumers' purchase decisions
and the impact of real estate companies' service quality on homebuyers' choices. Additionally, it seeks to
assess service preferences influencing housing purchase decisions and post-purchase satisfaction. In recent
times, the demand for luxury condominium units has surged alongside economic expansion. Several factors
underscore why owning a condominium represents a savvy investment choice. Firstly, purchasing a condo
unit at a lower price during the pre-selling period enables resale at a higher price, yielding significant
profits. Moreover, the affordability and reduced time commitment associated with condominium ownership
are appealing features. Most condominiums offer a range of amenities, including swimming pools, fitness
gyms, sports facilities, and playgrounds, all accessible without substantial additional fees. This not only
saves residents time but also money, as these amenities are typically covered by monthly dues, which also
include utility and repair costs. For professionals seeking a convenient and comfortable living arrangement
close to their workplace, the condominium market presents an attractive option. High-rise condo units have
gained popularity, particularly among younger demographics, due to the scarcity of land and the allure of
urban living in key areas like Metro Manila. Investing in a condominium offers peace of mind, as reputable
developers with solid track records typically dominate the market. This ensures ongoing support and
maintenance for both the property and its residents post-purchase. In conclusion, owning a condominium
offers numerous advantages, including financial gain, convenience, and accessibility. Understanding
market dynamics, recognizing the benefits, and planning for the future are essential steps that position
buyers for success. Ultimately, prioritizing investment opportunities, convenience, and accessibility over
larger living spaces and tranquil surroundings makes purchasing a condominium an ideal choice for many.
