Integration of School’s Earthquake Emergency Preparedness Program in the City of Bacoor Division: An Assessment

Abstract:

This study primarily focuses on the findings how the public elementary schools and its stakeholders in the City of Bacoor Division are integrating the Earthquake Preparedness Emergency Program. The results of this study are made as basis in the assessment of the said program. The research study utilized the study descriptive survey method. The universal sampling technique is employed in picking the 9 School Heads, 45 teachers, 45 PTA Officers, 45 LGU, 9 CDRRMC. All respondents were given survey questionnaires formulated by the researcher soliciting biographical information (demographic profile like age, gender, number of years in school/barangay, and groupings as well as items asking their assessment on the Integration of Schools Earthquake Emergency Preparedness Program in the City of Bacoor Division in the domains of management practices, innovations initiated and stakeholder’s involvement. The study made use of several methods of statistical treatment and analysis such as percentage formula, weight mean, standard deviation, ranking, one-way variance and independent t-test.
