Pagbabandila ng Aklat-Ulat sa Pagsulong ng Holistikong Pagkatuto sa Wika: Isang Matamang Pagbatak sa Kasanayang Makro

Abstract:

Dumadaan sa krisis ang pagbasa nang may pag-unawa sa mundo ng pagtuturo-pagkatuto kahit ngayong panahon ng makabago, mabilis at abot-kamay ang paraan ng pagkatuto. Dahil dito, nangangailangan ng estratihiyang magsisilbing interbensyon upang masiguro ang pagtamo sa mga makabuluhang kaalaman na magagamit sa pagtahak sa bawat piling larangan ng mga mag-aaral. Sinubukan ng pag-aaral na ito na muling balikan ang tradisyunal na Aklat-Ulat bilang interbensyon sa pagtuturo ng pagbasa na siya ring lunsaran ng iba pang kasanayang makro at samakatuwid ay mangyari ang pagbatak sa kasanayang makro na siyang mga pagsubok sa proseso ng pagtuturo at pagkatuto. Gumamit ng pamaraang Quasi-Experimental ang mananaliksik sa desinyong kombinasyon ng Non-Equivalent Group at Pretest/Posttest upang alamin ang epekto ng interbensyong Aklat-Ulat sa pagganap ng mga kalahok sa pagbasa nang may pagunawa. Dalawang seksyon ng magaaral na nagpapakadalubhasa sa Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) ng Quirino State University (Diffun Campus) na nasa ikalawang taon ang nagsilbing Control Group (CG) at Book Report Group (BRG). Nagkaroon ng makabuluhang pagkakaiba sa mean difference na 12.21 sa pagitan ng Book Report Group laban sa Control Group, na nangangahulugang higit na napabuti ang pagganap ng mga kalahok sa pangkat na gumawa ng Aklat-Ulat. Kinakitaan din ng malaking tulong ang nasabing interbensyon sa lower 27% o mga may mababang resulta ng pretest upang pagkatapos ng interbensyon ay makapagpakita ng kapansin-pansin na pagunlad sa pagganap.
