Abstract:

the conflict within the organization and the strategy it practices supervising it. Conflict
management seeks to resolve the disagreement or conflict with positive outcomes that
satisfy all individuals involved or are beneficial to the group. The objective of this
research was to determine the level of implementation of conflict management
strategies among school heads and its relationship to the organizational performance
of private schools in Calamba City. This study used quantitative research with a
descriptive correlational approach. It was conducted in Calamba City and respondents
were from different private schools. The data collected were tallied, analyzed, and
interpreted. Moreover, statistics experts were consulted for the treatment of the
gathered information. Four-point Likert scale, a simple mean, t-test for independent
samples, and Pearson r were used for this study.
Results revealed that the level of implementation of conflict management strategies
among school heads in terms of accommodating, dominating, compromising, and
collaborating were all Fully Implemented (3.44, 3.32, 3.41, 3.45). The level of
organizational performance of private schools was Strongly Agree (3.48, 3.45, 3.46)
based on the assessment of school heads and teachers in terms of efficiency,
productivity, and effectivity. There was no significant difference between the assessment
of the school heads and teachers as to the level of implementation of conflict
management strategies among school heads (p-values of 3.44, 3.32, 3.41, 3.45) There
was a significant relationship (p-value 0.000) between the level of implementation of
conflict management strategies among school heads and the organizational
performance level of private schools which meant that the higher the conflict
management, the better the organizational performance level. Moreover, this study
proposed a program that can be widely used in continuing their practices in resolving
