Robert Vincent Michael J. Ferrer | Aaron Gray O. Froilan | Jerico John G. Dalangin

Abstract:

The study assessed the effectiveness of the Accounting Information System with the corporate governance with service rendering businesses in Quezon City, based on their experience as accounting staff or managers. Additionally, it aimed to determine the perceived level of effectiveness of AIS in terms of its application, corporate governance control, commitment to accounting standards, performance evaluation, and added confidence and credibility. This research paper also investigated if there is no significant difference between the perceived effectiveness of AIS and the respondents' profile. A total of 211 respondents who are accounting staff and managers completed the survey. Based on the findings of the study, the perceived level of effectiveness of the AIS on corporate governance in Quezon City is highly effective, thus, they have a very high assurance that their AIS helps with their corporate governance.
