Social Networking Usage and Time Management Skills as Determinants of Study Habits among Senior High School Physical Education Students

Abstract:

This study sought to determine the impact of social networking usage and time management skills on the study habits of Senior High School physical education students. A descriptive correlational research design was employed to administer a survey to Grade 12 students from three selected private schools in Davao City. The researcher utilized validated adaptive questionnaires to ensure reliability in measuring students’ social networking usage, time management skills, and study habits. The acquired data were analyzed using statistical tools such as mean, standard deviation, and linear regression analysis. The data revealed that social networking usage, time management skills, and study habits are rated high. Additionally, both independent variables, social networking usage and time management skills, had a significant influence on students' study habits.
