Documentary media are slowly becoming a trend in addressing societal concerns, and with this in mind, responding to the need for awareness regarding sexually transmitted infections and its implication on men having sex with other men must be considered. This study is used to validate the acceptability of a Documentary Media about sexually transmitted infections (STI) on Men having sex with other Men (MSM) in Lucena City. Survey forms and questionnaires in the forms of Likert Type were administered to Twenty (20) MSM who were purposively selected, primarily with the objectives of appraising the documentary in relation to its orderliness and management, overall impact and value, creativity and design, and clarity and credibility of the message. On average, the respondents strongly deemed the documentary media as acceptable with a total weighted mean of 3.61 in terms of its Orderliness and Managements, Clarity and Credibility of Message, Creativity and Design, and Overall Impact and Value. Based on the findings and conclusions, the researcher recommends the following: The documentary can be utilized in the promotion of awareness to a more general and bigger audience. It can be used in symposia, seminars, forums and conventions that aid in the promotion of awareness on STI; the tool can be applied in community immersions and can be utilized by the City Health Office as health teaching aid; future researchers can make this as a reference for further study with permission from the researcher.
