The Use of Bahasa Indonesia (Monolingualism) and English (Bilingualism) in the Teaching of Physics: A Comparative Study

Abstract:

Today parochialism has been minimized in the social, political, economic, and educational aspects of life. Being more globalize, the world has created a need for international communication that keeps growing in networks and in speed. This international communication is realized in English, a language which has become an international language. In some countries like Indonesia, people use as ESL, or even as English as a Third Language, which is used with various dialects resulting in diversity in cultures.
