Correlation Between Academic and Board Examination Performance of Medical Technology Graduates

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to determine the correlation between the academic performance and board examination performance of the Medical Technology graduates. The researchers gathered the data of the academic performance of the students from 2014-2017 in the subject areas included in the board examination. The researchers collected the result of the licensure examination fromthe year 2014- 2017. With these two variables, the researchers used the Pearson r Correlation to determine its relationship to each other. All of the subjects from the curriculum year 2014-2017 were all graded as weak to moderate positive correlation. All of the subjects fromthe curriculum year 2014-2017 were all graded as weak to moderate positive correlation. From these results, majority of the graduates showed good performance in the licensure examination in correspond to their good academic performance.
