Abstract:

This project highlights the development and implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based parking monitoring system for Lyceum of the Philippines University - Batangas (LPU-B) Main Campus. The study investigates the increasing demand for efficient parking management systems due to the rising number of vehicles and frustrations with traditional approaches. The proposed IoT solution, incorporating real-time data analysis and device connectivity, aims to revolutionize parking management by providing accurate information on parking space availability. The system utilizes smart sensors to determine parking lot occupancy, addressing the growing challenges of parking congestion at LPU-Batangas Main Campus. The abstract emphasizes the concurrent management and optimization of parking spaces, enabling real-time monitoring and resource optimization. Additionally, the system is designed to be accessible to authorized drivers within the school community, enhancing overall efficiency in parking space utilization. The research represents a significant advancement towards addressing congestion and traffic-related challenges at LPU-Batangas Main Campus.
