Effectiveness of Logistics And Administration In Public Institutions In Enhancing Campus Life Quality And Operational Efficiency

Abstract:

This study evaluates the effectiveness of logistics and administrative management in public higher education institutions and their impact on enhancing campus life quality and operational efficiency. Utilizing a descriptive research design, data were collected through a validated questionnaire administered to 200 administrative staff members from three public universities in China. The study assessed logistics services across four dimensions (public service mission, regulatory framework, resource constraints, and performance measurement) and administrative management across six dimensions (service delivery, efficiency, financial management, performance measurement, compliance, and human resources). Key findings revealed strong agreement on the effectiveness of logistics and administration, with performance measurement (mean = 3.60) and compliance (mean = 3.52) ranking highest. Significant differences in perceptions were observed based on respondents’ roles, tenure, and age. A robust positive correlation was identified between logistics, administration, and campus life quality. The study proposes actionable strategies, including blockchain-based procurement systems, AI-driven workflow automation, and interdepartmental resource-sharing platforms, to address gaps in transparency, compliance, and efficiency. These findings provide practical insights for optimizing institutional operations and fostering stakeholder satisfaction in higher education settings.
