Abstract:

School leadership plays a crucial role in shaping educational success by influencing teacher effectiveness, student performance, and overall school improvement. This study examines the leadership practices of school heads in District VI, Quezon City, focusing on their effectiveness, challenges, and impact on the school community. Using a qualitative research design, data are gathered through interviews and document analysis to explore the leadership strategies employed by the school heads. Findings reveal that effective leadership fosters collaboration, professional growth, and positive student outcomes, while challenges include resource limitations, policy constraints, and stakeholder expectations. The study highlight the importance of adaptive leadership and continuous professional development for school heads. Insights from this research can guide school administrators, policymakers, and educators in enhancing leadership training programs and institutional policies. Future studies may further explore the long-term effects of leadership practices on school performance and stakeholder engagement.
