Exploring Job Satisfaction among Administrative Assistants in the DepEd Division of Quezon - Fourth Congressional District: Implications for Career Development

Abstract:

Job satisfaction is a crucial factor influencing employee performance, retention, and organizational efficiency. This study explores job satisfaction among administrative assistants in the DepEd Division of Quezon - Fourth Congressional District, focusing on its implications for career development. Using a descriptive-quantitative research design, the study examines key factors such as work environment, compensation and benefits, and recognition and professional growth opportunities. Data were collected through survey questionnaires distributed to administrative assistants within the district. The findings indicate that while respondents generally express satisfaction with their work environment, concerns remain regarding compensation fairness and career advancement opportunities. The study highlights the need for enhanced support systems, structured career pathways, and targeted policies to improve job satisfaction and professional growth. These insights provide valuable implications for workforce management and policy development in public education institutions.
