Proteksiyon sa Bahaghari: mga Polisiya at Lehislasyon sa Pagkilala ng LGBTQIA+ ng Pilipinas, Thailand, at Singapore

Abstract:
Hindi maikakailang marami nang plataporma sa pagsulong ng pantay-pantay na
karapatang pantao ng mga nasa LGBTQIA+. Mula sa pagkampanya gamit ang
social media, pagsasagawa ng pride march, maging ang paghalungkat ng mga
mainstream media na nagsasalaysay ng mga kuwentong LGBTQIA+ gaya ng mga
lumang pelikula, dating soap opera, at marami pang iba, talagang naidiriin kung
gaano kahalaga ang maging malay sa usaping ito. Upang mas mapalawak pa,
pinakalayunin ng pananaliksik ang sumusunod: a) ilarawan ang pagkakahawig ng
mga patakaran sa Pilipinas, Thailand, Singapore; b) suysuyin ang pagkakaiba ng mga
batas at patakaran ng mga nabanggit na bansa; at c) tukuyin ang mga implikasyon
ng mga pagkakapareho at pagkakaiba ng mga batas ng nasabing bansa. Ginamit
dito ang Document Analysis upang magalugad ang batas ng mga nabanggit na
bansa. Bilang resulta, natuklasan ang iba’t ibang priyoridad ng mga bansang
Pilipinas, Singapore, at Thailand. Sa kabila nito, makikita pa rin ang pagkakapareho
ng mga polisiya ng tatlong bansa upang maprotektahan ang LGBTQIA+ kabilang
na ang pagtugis sa diskriminasyon at pagsulong sa karapatang pantao.
