The Cascading of Research Leadership into Research Management at Arellano University

Abstract:

This investigation sought to determine whether research leadership has cascaded to research management in five years. Descriptive method aided by documentary analysis and interviews with the faculty researchers was used to gather the data needed in the study. The findings revealed that research leadership has successfully cascaded into research management through the following: 1. Sustained and enough budget allocations for researcher, 2. Appropriately articulated mandates and goals into the streams of management down to instruction, and 3. Properly coordinated research programs and activities with strong academic synergy.
