Abstract:

This study examined the effectiveness of teacher-made video lessons in improving Grade 10 students’ performance in integer operations. A quasi-experimental pretestposttest design was used with 40 students from Batasan Hills National High School who previously struggled in mathematics. Teachermade videos were delivered over five days, each focusing on one of the four operations, supported by pretest and posttest assessments. Results showed no significant improvement in addition (p = 0.7414) and subtraction (p = 0.4715), but significant gains in multiplication (p = 0.0455) and division (p = 0.0394). These suggest videos are more effective for complex operations, likely due to visual support. The study indicates that while videos enhance understanding of certain topics, they may not suffice foundational skills. Future research should combine videos with interactive teaching strategies to strengthen learning, especially in basic operations
