Discipline: Veterinary Medicine

Six species representing five families of trematodes from Philippine wild birds are reported and their photomicrographs provided. These are: Glaphyrostomum rallinarum, Leucochloridium dasylophi (Brachylaimidae); Tubangorchis caintaensis (Opisthorchiidae); Neodiplostomum aluconis (Diplostomidae); Echinostoma revolutum (Echinostomatidae) and Zonorchis philippinensis (Dircocoellidae). This paper constitutes the only record of new materials for the first five species since their discovery. The last species is recorded for the first time from Philippine wild birds. Leucochloridium dasylophi and Tubangorchis caintaensis are also recorded from new bird hosts.
