Abstract:
This study determined the supply chain challenges across the areas of customer, cost, communication, coordination, collaboration, con- trol and continuous improvement and assessed the effects of these challenges on operational performance and determined whether a significant relationship exists between them. The study utilized a de- scriptive research design and employed a survey questionnaire as the primary data-gathering instrument. The respondents consisted of employees of Steven Construction and Supply. Statistical tools such as frequency counts, weighted means, rankings, and Spearman's Rank Correlation were used to analyze the collected data. The find- ings revealed that the company highly encountered supply chain chal- lenges across all dimensions. Likewise, the effects of these challenges on operational performance were evident across various aspects of the organization's operations. The results further indicated that cost/pricing-related concerns were among the most prominent chal- lenges the company faced. In addition, communication, coordination, collaboration, control, and continuous improvement were identified as important factors influencing operational performance. The test of the relationship showed that supply chain challenges are significantly associated with operational performance. This implies that effective management of supply chain challenges improves operational out- comes and overall organizational efficiency. Based on the findings, an operational enhancement plan was proposed to address the identi- fied supply chain challenges and strengthen the company's opera- tional performance. In conclusion, the study highlighted the im- portance of effectively managing supply chain challenges to maintain and improve the operational performance of Steven Construction and Supply. While various challenges were identified across different sup- ply chain dimensions, the findings emphasized the need for continu- ous improvement initiatives and strategic interventions to address operational concerns. The proposed operational enhancement plan, developed from the study's findings, provides practical guidance to strengthen supply chain management practices, improve organiza- tional efficiency, and support sustainable operational performance. *Corresponding author: E-mail: sheinabajaro@gmail.com S A Bajaro, 2026 / Analysis on Supply Chain Challenges in Steven Construction & Supply ASSRJ 970
