Human Resources Information System for the University of Cebu

This paper has the aim to provide solutions to the dilemma of the manual human resources system recently used by the University of Cebu which is very slow in processing the request and inquiries. The proposed system will enable faculty and staff to transact queries faster in the database server and automatically they will be able to obtain information that they need, and make necessary update. A descriptive method was used and questionnaires were distributed and later tabulated to determine the needs of a human resources information system for the University of Cebu. Majority of the respondents agreed that there is a need for a human resources information system to make their transactions hassle free and convenient. These respondents are simulated for the implementation of the project.
