Discipline: Education
Fifty one seminarians, nine formators/priests, four
counselors and 29 parents reviewed the existing set up of
the Divine Word Formation Center-Davao (DWFC-D).
The Edwards Personal Preference Schedule and Problem Experiences
Checklist were used to identify the seminarians’ needs and problems.
The seminarians favorably perceived the specific features of DWFC-D
but the counselors and formators perceived them as available
but inadequate. The parents showed inadequate orientation but
generally positive attitude towards the guidance program. The top
three problems centered on goals, peers and emotional concerns.
