"My wife is My Mistress"

Abstract:

Dr. Gerardo Janairo admits that his wife, Susana Belen Janairo, is actually his mistress--second only to Chemistry, his first love. "I married twice. My first wife was Chemistry, then I married my present wife," quips Janairo, who feels lucky that Susana, also a Chemistry graduate, understands his profession, even if she sometimes laments that he spends more time on Chemistry than with her. The couple is blessed with three children--Maria Isabel, 14, Jose Isagani, 9, and Gabriela Ilona, 9 months. "I am very happy and satisfied because I have a loving wife and children," he said.
