The design project aimed to provide a microwave communication link connecting Wyeth Canlubang Main Plant and warehouses in Silangan, Cabuyao, Laguna. The design would be used for the transmission of data, voice, and video information. This would serve to have an effective communication link between the two sites for the benefits of the company in terms of its productions and other means of business.
The study used a descriptive method in considering the different factors needed to come up with a cost efficient and reliable design. Through the use of mathematical calculations and analysis of the different parameters in the study, the technical and economic feasibility of the design to be a benefit of the company was achieved.
The reliability obtained in the study while considering the effects of the thermal fade margin was computed to be 41.66980558 dB and 42.39214689 dB for the low ban frequency and high band frequency respectively resulting for a reliability 99.99999511% and 99.99999528% for the low band frequency and high band frequency respectively.
