Towards the Evolution of the Philippine National Language and the Maugnaying Talasalitaang Pang-Agham

Abstract:

The Lupan sa Agham was created by the Akademya ng Wikang Pilipino (The Academy of the Pilipino Language which significantly is composed only of Tagalogs on May 24, 1964. As Dr. Jose Villa Panganiban, Director of the Institute of National Language and president of the Akademya ng Wikang Pilipino, pointed out, the committee on science was entrusted to undertake the science vocabulary project in Pilipino (Le Tagalog) in line with the UNESCO invitation to member nations to work on the preparation of scientific bibliographies and the standardization of terminology in their national languages.
