Abstract:

BelGiAn Products Corporation is the manufacturer of GUMBO Cooking Oil extracted from matured ripe okra seeds. It would be used as edible cooking oil. The product promotes a healthier way of cooking at a reasonable price. This project attempted to find out the feasibility of producing and marketing cooking oil from ripe okra seeds in Sta. Rosa City, Cabuyao, Calamba City, and Los Baños, Laguna.

To be recognized as one of the healthiest edible cooking oil makers in the selected market areas and in the local market is the project’s long-range objective.

The project cost amounts to Php 53,242,607.55 for the first three months of operation. This amount would be equally divided among the three business owners. Payback period is approximately one year while the accounting return on investment is 42.48%; this shows profitability of the project.
