Claro T. Llaguno

Discipline: Education, Information Science

Abstract:

The utility of the modern high-speed computer in education has brought about a new mode of instruction. It is referred to as computer- based education (CBE), or more popularly, the computer-assisted instruction (CAl). The computer, perhaps the more successful entity in a development process in which the teaching machine or programmed instruction is an earlier stage, plays the role of a deputized teacher in a highly individualized and interactive instruction.
