Abstract:

If we were to think of a word which would characterize our present world we might think of the word change. Our world is a rapidly changing world We perceive change not only in the field of science and technology but also in almost every nook and cranny of human tradition and culture. For while the external world changes man and his activities also change. This paper not only considers new approaches and techniques in classroom procedures but also re-examines assumptions and objectives in the light of the changes imposed by national and societal demands and by recent thinking in the discipline from which these assumptions and objectives are derived.
