Discipline: Education, Humanities
In this paper I shall attempt to answer one main question: To what extent and under what conditions can education be expected to contribute to the evangelization task of human advancement?
At the outset I want to make it clear that I am not a theologian, but a social scientist and an educator with a keen interest in evangelization. As such, I will approach this paper primarily from a socio-psychological and educational perspective, all the while making a conscious attempt to be theologically well-grounded. My hope is that this attempt at interdisciplinary dialogue will be of some value.
