Abstract:

The manuscript contains a day-by-day account Of the events in Daet and Nueva Caceres as seen by Marcos Gomez, O.F.M. from 14 April 1898 to 26 February 1900, events which saw twenty-four Franciscan friars imprisoned by the Philippine revolutionaries for sixteen months, and finally released by the Americans who arrived in Iriga on 26 February 1900.
