Improvement Of Deodorizing Process Of San Pablo Manufacturing Company

Abstract:

The study aimed to make the deodorizing process of San Pablo Manufacturing Company in San Pablo City, Laguna efficient to increase both quality and quantity of the product.

 

It was found out that the oil did not attain the desired deodorizing temperature. Also, the deodorizing process could be improved by means of several solutions like redesigning the final heater by installing vacuum dryer or by adding new high pressure boiler in the system. The study recommended redesigning the final heater because it could increase both quality and quantity of the product. It would increase the mass flow rate of the oil in the deodorizing process that would lessen the operating hours and operating cost of the deodorizing process. Hence, the company could save half of the present operating cost of the deodorizer.
