Rizal As A Historian

Discipline: History

Abstract:

There is a common saying that a Jack of all trades is a master of none. There is, however, another saying that for every rule there is an exception. If the first saying may be considered a rule, Jose Rizal was definitely an exception. He has been deservedly credited with proficiency, if not excellence, in many fields from A to Z, such as anthropology, botany, ophthalmology, poetry, and so on down to Zoology.
