Abstract:

Students who are single parents experienced greater pressure than most students. Often most of them ended not being able to finish college at all. This paper studied the coping mechanism of single parents. An in depth interview was used in gathering the data. It was found that students who are single parents are able to cope with their responsibilities at home and at school because of the help of their parents.
