Abstract:

A Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) was developed for Broadcasting and Acoustics course. The software was developed using script languages ASP and VBScript. It also utilizes Internet Information Service Web Server (llS), which makes data storage and retrieval easy. The system can either be web-based or stand-alone. It uses a Graphical User Interface (GUI) and displays animation with sound editing to produce an interactive and interesting learning media. The design of the system is such that assessment methods are provided that allows the user to progress to succeeding stage only after having mastered a given module.
