Globalization- the most oft- repeated word nowadays ,whether it is fully understood or not is profoundly influencing virtually every country in the world today and will continue to do so in the future according to the author.
The thesis is that Globalization is not simply a trend / fad but, rather an international system that continuously directly or indirectly infringe into politics, environment, geo-politics, economics and socio-cultural system of every country. It was born more or less in 1989 with the collapse of the wall and the cold war. What makes this Globalization Round II different from the first globalization wrought by WWI and WWII frozen by the cold war, is the degree and intensity with which the world is being tied together into a single globalized market place and village. The sheer number of people and countries able to partake of today’s globalized economy and information networks and how they are affected by them is overwhelming.
