The Perception of Selected College Students on the Guidance and Testing Services of Colegio De San Juan De Letran Calamba

Abstract:

The study aimed to find out the perception of the selected college students on the guidance and testing services of Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba. It used descriptive research design. Questionnaires were distributed to students who have benefited on the guidance and testing services of the Colegio. In addition, a focus group discussion was conducted and transcribed as secondary data for the study. Thematic analysis was also utilized, tables showing the demographic profile of the respondents, and answers in percentage and frequencies were discussed.

 

The study found out that the perception of the selected college students before and after benefiting from the services of the Guidance and Testing Office fulfils the students’ needs in terms of academic, career, and personal/social development, but there are still some enhancements to be done on these services as far as the physical characteristics of the office are concerned.
