Runway Signal

Abstract:

This project was mainly designed for airport runways. Its main purpose was to convey command from the tower with the runway's status to the pilot through forms of signal. In detail, this design gave the pilot clearance for taking off and landing. The device has the ability to display the message inputted by the user in a matter of seconds the user wants to show the message.

Experimental development was used to establish the functionality of runway signal and this was followed by a descriptive approach to test the practicality and efficiency of the device through the assessment of seven purposively chosen evaluators.

Findings of the study indicated that the device was reliable and functioning well.
