The study aimed to develop a burglar alarm device that could help protect public and private establishments from intruders. The main purpose of the device was to drive burglars away.
Experimental development was used to establish the functionality of the device and it was followed by a descriptive approach to test the practicality and efficiency of the device through the assessment of purposively chosen evaluators.
Findings of the study revealed that the device was very useful. It involved less manpower in terms of ensuring security; thereby posing lesser risk.
