This study aimed to design and construct a piggery system that could automatically feed piglets when the program is activated. A stand alone circuit was developed for manipulation and execution of tasks required of the piggery system.
To establish the functionality of the device, experimental development and descriptive approach were applied involving the assessment of the device's functionality by chosen evaluators.
Findings of the study indicated that the device was a big help for the piggery owners because it reduced the time used for feeding the pigs manually. Also, the device was found to be functioning well and environment-friendly.
