Abstract:

This investigation intended to construct a voice activated wireless dimmer that would help control the light system inside the room. This study sought to address the following issues: (a) ability to control light bulb brightness level via voice command, and (b) the transmission of command through wireless communication within the five meter distance range.

The experimental development approach and the descriptive method were utilized in this study. The functionality of the device was evaluated by five purposively chosen respondents from different fields.

Findings of the study showed that the device is capable of giving and controlling four levels of brightness and the device is able to transmit the command through wireless communication within the five meter range distance.
