This research was designed to accurately indicate the position of the ball as it touches the ground. The device was programmed to ascertain whether the ball is inside the perimeter of the court or not. It consisted of wire sensors that would be placed within the lines and a buzzer which would indicate if the ball hit the line or not.
Experimental development and descriptive approaches were the methods used. Six purposively chosen evaluators were requested to assess the functionality of the system.
The findings showed that the device was a reliable instrument because of accuracy in locating the ball.
