Abstract:

The study aimed to develop and test a wireless and emergency system that provides fast and easy access of communication with any rescue center during emergencies. This sought to answer following issues concerning: (a) accommodation of the wireless system commercially, (b) functionality of the device within a specified distance, and (c) efficiency of the system when emergency happens.

To establish the functionality of the device, experimental development and descriptive approach were applied through the assessment of purposively chosen evaluators.

Results showed that the system could respond quickly during emergencies and the system could also trace the exact location and identification of the commercial establishments.
