Abstract:

The study was conducted to determine the level of knowledge and health practices of the selected residents of Barangay Looc on leptospirosis prevention. The study utilized descriptive method of research to analyze the concerns of the respondents regarding leptospirosis. The validated survey questionnaire constructed by the researchers was used to determine the demographic profile, knowledge, and health practices of the respondents on leptospirosis. One hundred fifty residents were chosen through convenient sampling to participate in the study but only one adult family member, preferably the head, from each family will be included to answer the questionnaire. Frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and t-test were used to interpret the data gathered.
