THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTITUDES OF LEVEL IV NURSING STUDENTS OF LETRAN CALAMBA IN IMPLEMENTING DO-NOT-RESUSCITATE (DNR) ORDER

Abstract:

The study aimed to determine the level of competency of Level IV nursing students of Letran Calamba in terms of knowledge, skills, and attitudes in implementing do-not-resuscitate (DNR) order. Descriptive method was used in the study and a validated self-constructed questionnaire from literatures on do-not-resuscitate order was used. Findings revealed that the level of competency of the respondents in terms of their knowledge in implementing DNR is below average, average in skills, and above average in attitudes. The findings also revealed that the profile of level IV nursing students has no significant relationship with their level of competency.
