Abstract:

This case study on Bridging Pedagogical Theories and Classroom Practices attempted to utilize the data gathered from authentic classroom observation and explain instructional practices employed by a student teacher who was observed by the researchers. It tried to determine whether justification was provided by the said student teacher in the activities done in the classroom through pedagogical theories. Likewise, a comparison was made between the student teacher’s justification as well as researchers’ observed theoretical practices drawn from the classroom activity. Descriptive method was utilized. Questionnaire and interview were likewise employed to gather and verify data.
