Abstract:

Traditional growers of transplanted rice in the Cauvery new delta zone of Tamil Nadu State often switch to semidry rice culture because of the nonavailability of water and labor. Under semidry rice culture, premonsoon dry seeding is practiced and the rice crop is submerged after about a month. A major constraint in this type of month. A major constraint in this type incidence.
