Abstract:

Knowledge concerning the sexual activity of animals has increased in the past decade. The precision and technology to adequately study this sphere has heightened considerably since studies done early in this century. Hormonal influences on animal sexual behavior began to be explored. The theorized role that sex hormones supposedly play on the sexual behavior of lower species has provided much ground for research.
