Abstract:

The purpose of the IT Capstone Project proposal is to design a Proposed Mobile Operation Support System for Philippine Long Distance Telephone which helps the managers and employees to generate reports about the network equipment discrepancy report and customer feedback form and customers to help them to access the system quickly to send their complaints about the digital subscriber line and voice services of PLDT. Accrediting Institution: Our Lady of Fatima University – Antipolo Campus. This study made an assessment of the factors that have impact on the industry life, balance by the other managers and employees in the department of Information Systems in Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT) with the use of mobile phones. The respondents consisted of 5 employees 5 managers and 326 customers who were chosen by stratified random sampling per department and per designated areas of the two respondents. This area contained the problems of the company in their existing system and operation. The Operation Support System of Philippine Long Distance Telephone is currently having problem to their current operations such as the network equipment report and monitoring the customer problem feedback.

The purpose of this study was to create a Network Equipment report system and to create a customer problem monitoring system. There were two main objectives that the proposed system aimed to accomplish. The first main objective was to help the Operation Support System in terms of generating, organizing, and visualizing the records of the network equipment of the company. The second main objective was to monitor the current problems of the customers and to help the company to select a priority location where there are major problems. The system would benefit by the managers, employee, customers, proponents and researchers that help them how to use the proposed system. The Current system of Philippine Long Distance Telephone needs to improve its current system with the used of Advance Technology using Mobile Devices, to know all the details and results about the complaints of the customers in selected area. The new system offers far more flexibility and functionality than the present materials used in current system. The proposed system would reduce the time that the transactions consume per day.
