Abstract:

Specifically, the study intended to design a visual novel game, create a script that will be the bases of the story and dialogue, create the art assets such as character and background images, and sound materials such as background music and voice recordings. Also, the study wanted to program the game and integrate the storyboard, art and sound assets to the game. The researchers also used save, load and settings functions which are prebuilt in the Ren’Ry Visual Novel Engine, and tested and debugged the game and evaluate the game by the respondents to determine its reliability, user-friendliness portability and accuracy.
