The Enrolment Trend of the BS Biology Program in Our Lady of Fatima University

Abstract:

Trends exist to describe patterns of events that change. Oftentimes, an increasing trend is sought while a decreasing one is avoided. Such is the expectation when it comes with enrollees of any baccalaureate program. Successful programs often have an increasing or stable trend. The proponent of this study conducted an investigation on the number of enrollees of the BS biology program of the Our Lady of Fatima University from academic year 2008 – 2009 to 2012 – 2013 and subjected such data to specific statistical treatments. Such yielded expected results that further enhanced the program in terms of its preparation for the succeeding semesters.
