Development and Validation of Proposed Module in Income Taxation

Abstract:

Concerned with the improvement of the achievement level of students enrolled in the subject Income Taxation at the Technological Institute of the Philippines Quezon City (TIPQC), a group of faculty members from the College of Business Education conducted a research during the school year 2006-2007.

 

The subjects of the study were the students enrolled in the subject Income Taxation. The study dealt on the development and experimental investigation on the effectiveness of the proposed module prepared by the Faculty. It covered topics that included all concepts and applications used in Income Taxation.

 

The study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of the proposed module made for the study of a group of controlled and experimental classes enrolled in the subject, Income Taxation. It sought to find out if there is a significant difference between the performances of the controlled and experimental groups in the subject concerned.
