Abstract:

Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of this book which was originally written for Chinese students in Hongkong (although the authors hope that it would be of use and interest outside of Hongkong) is the fact that it succeeded in adding interesting details to the dry bones of Chinese and Japanese history.
